Hi folks, There will be a public talk about Dance Video Games at MUN that I thought might be interesting for you folks. Dr. Kiri Miller, our guest lecturer, will talk about some dance video games and participatory culture. If you always have been asked about "why" you love playing video games, this is your chance to get some answers and ask questions. She is super interesting! The event will take place on: Wednesday, October, 1 4:00 p.m MMaP Gallery, 2nd floor, Art and Culture Center www.mun.ca/mmapLooking forward to see all of you guys Hadi

Thanks for the post, Hadi! I'm sure there are some members here who would be very interested in this talk - both Dance Dance Revolution and Kinect setups saw constant use during our mixer on Friday night. I see from your link that the guest lecture will be from 4:00 to 5:30. I hope that Dr. Miller will not be insulted if any attendees who happen to be Sandbox Gaming members leave her discussion early - our weekly meetings are held on Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m. in the Engineering building.
