So who else here plays Yu-Gi-Oh? The game can be crazy competitive and this thread can be toward card discussion, deck discussion, and format discussion! The decks that I have made are: Gadgets Fire Kings Frog Monarchs Madolche Hieretic Dragons

I am a decade behind on the Yu-gi-oh meta but I loved this game back then. Are there still viable burn decks? I love that passive aggressive play.

The only real burn deck left is a deck called chain burn. It's very annoying to play against.

Are there deck builds that are considered the best and that most people stick to? What I am asking is are Yu-gi-oh builds tiered like a fighting games and do you see low tier heroes? That being people who will try to win with a lesser deck that they enjoy?

Those are usually called Rouge Decks. And yeah, if a deck tops a major event, people often swarm the build and try to copy it. The forbidden and limited list for cards gets updated every 3 months now, so it keeps the flux of those decks lower-ish.

I had a pretty excellent defensive water deck back in the day! I've lost it, but can probably rebuild it with enough cash under my belt!

So, "Pendulum Summoning" the newest game mechanic, is busted. Like, STOOPID busted. As a concept anyways.
